The centre is a bold and direct design statement contributing
to the establishment of Adelaide's West End as an arts and education precinct. The building provides outstanding teaching facilities for the visual and performing arts including exhibition spaces and workshops for jewellery making and ceramics.

Two theatres enable students to experience all aspects of the dramatic arts from production to performance. Specially designed dance studios filled with natural light provide exceptional
performance and rehearsal facilities. The theatres, studios and gallery spaces are envisioned for use in the display of student work and hire to external professional companies. Lecturers, students
and arts administrators have praised the building's design.
