The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (CACC) Research and Development Centre in Pudong Shanghai sets a new benchmark for research and development facilities. The Centre for Chinese-made large passenger aircraft is critical to China’s progress and commitment to independent aviation research.
Strategically located near Pudong International Airport and existing national aviation industries, the Centre attracts key projects and positions its home - Zhangjiang Park - as a major scientific research and development base within China and around the globe.
The Centre is on a 70 hectare site area with a total gross floor area of 488,000 square metres. It is a self contained facility with five zones: administration, research and development, engineering test area, technological innovation, and support.
The Centre’s garden setting promotes cross disciplinary interaction and helps maintain high efficiency and productivity.
